Summer Intern Foundry (IF) is an 11-week program that connects students to a wide range of purpose-driven organizations according to their interests. The internship occurs over Summer 2026 (June 1 - August 14) with two weeks allotted for vacation. Interns work approximately 20 hours per week at a rate of $15-16 per hour, for a total of 205 hours. Interns will have opportunities to meet local purpose-driven leaders and learn about their experiences and organizations in order to gain a better sense of professional identity.
Prior to the internship start date, all interns will participate in a paid, in-person training session (May 26-29) at The Foundry, focused on project management and professional development. In-person attendance at the training is required.
Interns will also enroll in a special Intern Foundry section of UHON 99H, which will include online assignments throughout the internship duration and in-person professional development days at The Foundry.
