Summer Intern Foundry Application: Public Health and Sustainability
Summer Intern Foundry (IF) is an 11-week program that connects students to a diverse set of purpose-driven organizations related to public health and sustainability. The internship occurs over the 2025 summer (June 2 - August 15) with the opportunity to take two weeks off during that period.
This summer, the Foundry is offering 9 health and sustainability internships. Interns work approximately 20 hours per week at a rate of $15 per hour, for a total of 180 hours. Interns will have opportunities to meet local purpose-driven leaders and learn about their experiences and organizations in order to gain a better sense of professional identity.
Prior to the internship start date, all interns will participate in four days of in-person training (May 27-30), focused on project management and led by community leaders. This training is paid and will take place at the Foundry. Interns will also enroll in a tailored Intern Foundry section of UHON 99H, which will include online assignments throughout the internship duration.
