Cooper Conversation: Racial Bias in Artificial Intelligence

At this Cooper Conversation, entitled "Racial Bias in Artificial Intelligence," we will consider how racial bias is incorporated into artificial intelligence, what this means as well as efforts that can be taken to change this. This conversation will feature campus and community leaders focused on computer science and/or diversity and inclusion, and the continued development of technology for the betterment of our world. The topic ties to this year’s E. N. Thompson Forum on World Issues theme around racial equity and action. The leaders will share their background and expertise and then students will continue the conversation in small groups with the leaders and peer facilitators.
