Neihardt Residence Center (comprised of sections Heppner, Love, Piper, and Raymond), is the oldest residence on campus. With its Georgian architecture, it is an elegant and appropriate home of the largest Learning Community at Nebraska.

In the summer of 2003, extensive renovations to the first floor of Heppner were completed. We have added 4 study rooms which are open to all Honors Program students 24 hours a day. The new reading room and commuter student lounge provide relaxing, casual space for students. Two remodeled rooms are dedicated to tutoring opportunities such as Math or writing. All rooms have internet access.

In addition, a new resource room contains materials ranging from copies of the classics to international newspapers, standard reference books, information about study programs abroad and in the U.S., to books on graduate and professional school preparation, and more. A computer in the room is bookmarked with web sites of various prestigious scholarships, graduate and professional schools, on-line newspapers, among other things.
