Mock Presidential Debate: The University Program Council (UPC) and ASUN's Government Liaison Committee will host a Mock Presidential Debate in conjunction with a voter registration drive on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. on the Nebraska Union Plaza. They are looking for students (male or female) to represent Sen. John McCain and Sen. Barack Obama in this event. Questions and topics for the debate will be pre-determined, but the final format will be decided upon by the selected students. Applicants should have good communication skills and a solid base of information about the candidate they wish to represent. Applications, due Monday, September 29, are available in both the UPC and ASUN offices . Protect these valuables by completing these registration forms. Go to police.unl.edu, then click "Valuable Item Recovery." You'll need serial numbers. Honors computer lab: Once again, please limit your paper usage to academic printing-do not print items for co-curricular activities, personal use, or for people not in the Honors Program. It is not too early to schedule an appointment with your advisor in early October to discuss registration for second semester.
