May 7: Commencement -- A reminder: you MUST purchase all books and course packets for your classes through the UNL Bookstore. Should a faculty member have made other arrangements, contact the Bookstore first and have them order the text for you. -- Don't miss Much Ado About Nothing, Thursday, February 17 at 7:30 pm. Tickets are available from the main Honors Office at $5 apiece. You may bring guests who are not members of the Honors Program. Special bonus: Dr. Bob Milliken will give a pre-performance talk at 6:45 in the Blue TV Lounge. -- Attention Seniors: If you intend to graduate from the Honors Program in May, please email Dr. Berger and inform him of that fact: pberger1@unl.edu. -- Undergraduate Research Conference Friday April 1 The deadline for registering to present at the Undergraduate Research Conference is March 4 and registration will be available on the UCARE website at http://www.unl.edu/ucare. All students are welcome to participate in the conference and present their work, but they must register prior to the conference. Poster sessions are strongly encouraged. (The number of oral presentations will be limited.) -- There is still room in the King Arthur trip. See Arthurian sites in England, visit Oxford, London and Paris. It's a wonderful way to earn Honors credit! The registration deadline has been moved to mid-February. Contact Dr. Lyons for more information. -- The Power of One: On Feb. 15 the International Student Organization is hosting a fund raiser for Tsunami victims in the City Campus Union. From 10:30 am - 7:30 pm, there will be exhibits and presentations. At 7:30 pm will be a candlelight vigil at Union Square, City Campus Union. No admission fees, but donations accepted.
