Kerri

Kerri

Kerri Molczyk graduated from UNL in May, 2008, with two degrees:  a B.A. in English (Highest Distinction) and B.S.E. in Secondary Language Arts Education (High Distinction). Her Honors Thesis involved D.H. Lawrence’s use of language. The University of Nebraska Honors Program brought her from a town of 500 people in central Nebraska to Lincoln, then to England, Paris, Italy, a semester of student-teaching in Houston, Texas, and now to teaching ESL in England, where she was a Fulbright finalist. Her reflections below document some of the many lessons she learned in her work with Texas schools and in her travels abroad.

Daniel

Daniel

Daniel Larsen is a 2008 graduate of the Honors Program and UNL, with High Distinction. He carried majors in History, Spanish, and International Studies with minors in French, Music, and Physics, He is shown here after his MPhil graduation from Cambridge University, Cambridge, UK, in February, 2010. He tells us the graduation ceremony was completely in Latin, but the most amazing thing was the sunshine on graduation day! He is currently supervising undergraduates at Cambridge while pursuing his PhD, and will become a History professor upon completion of his degree.
