Academic Partners

As part of the Office of Undergraduate Studies, the University Honors Program is proud to sponsor partnerships with campus and community departments and organizations.  UCARE, the Undergraduate Creative Activities and Research Experiences program, directed by Dr. Laura Damuth, is vital to the research community on campus.  Many Honors Program students participate, often translating the UCARE project into the Honors Thesis.  Neihardt Residence Hall is home to the executive offices of the National Collegiate Honors Council, a consortium of Honors programs and colleges throughout the US and abroad.  The Nebraska Colloquium, the E. N. Thompson Forums and other programs on campus receive support from the Honors Program.
